The H2S Awareness Course provides information about how to properly recognize, assess and control hazards that are associated with the H2S gas. This course provides theoretical training of H2S hazards, detection and controls, and safety and emergency procedures, outlining the delegates about the physical properties of the gas, the effects on the human body and the equipment we can use to detect and alarm of the presence of the gas. The Course also goes into what actions to take in the event of detecting the gas.

Course topics include; Hydrogen Sulphide – it’s properties; Hazard detection & exposure limits; Hydrogen Sulphide in the Oil & Gas industry; Personal protective measures; Contingency plans & rescue response including First Aid.
